Jamilah Snell enters her 7th year as Lady Raiders Head Volleyball Coach. Coach Snell is a native of Tallahassee, Florida and graduate of Amos P. Godby High School (Class of 2005). After graduating from Godby, Coach Snell attended Indian River State College and transferred to Albany State University to pursue a degree in Health Care Management. Since, she has returned home to study at Florida A&M University majoring in Physical Therapy. Her playing career began at Godby under the tutelage of famed coach Jose Morales and Olympian Rita Crockett. At Indian River she was a member of the FCCJ Fall Classic Tournament Team and played in 144 games with 169 kills. At Albany State Coach Snell was a member of the 2007 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Team, 2008 SIAC All Tournament Team and MVP. She is currently a very active member of our community and attends Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. James S. Rickards High School welcomes Coach Snell and is looking forward to her improving the lives of our student/athletes.
